Michael Meier is the Principal and Co-Founder of Aristocrat Realty & Development, where he specializes in off-market transactions and commercial development across the Kansas City region. He studied Business Management at Johnson County Community College and Pittsburg State University.
With more than two decades as an entrepreneur, Michael moved from local retail ownership into commercial real estate — a transition driven by a belief that this business is won on service, responsiveness, and follow-through. Under his leadership, Aristocrat Realty has grown to a team of 34 agents. The Kansas City Business Journal named him the #1 top broker in the Kansas City area for retail sales in both 2023 and 2024, and he has been recognized on the publication's top broker list every year since, including 2025 and 2026.
Michael brings an owner's perspective to every deal. He works closely with developers, business owners, investors, and municipal leaders to move complex projects forward, and he is known for strategic insight and a tireless work ethic.
He is deeply involved in the civic life of the region. Michael serves as a Commissioner for the Port Authority of Kansas City, Missouri (Port KC), as a Parks Board Commissioner for Kansas City, Missouri, and on the Board of Zoning Adjustment (BZA) for KCMO. He is a board member of the Platte County Economic Development Council, the Northland Chamber of Commerce, and Starlight Theatre, and also serves on the boards of Platte County Senior Services and the Northland Workforce Development Center's 501(c)(3). He proudly represents the PCR3 school district and serves on the Capital Campaign Committee for the Northland Career Center. He is a dedicated supporter of Children's Mercy Hospital, Ronald McDonald House Charities, the Alzheimer's Foundation, and the Multiple Sclerosis Association.
Outside of work, Michael can be found tailgating and cheering on the Chiefs and Royals, or spending time with his wife, Kailey, and their daughters, Julia and Wrenley.
